Glossybox February Box

Today I received my first ever Glossybox! It was very exciting receiving a gorgeously wrapped parcel full of beauty surprises! Like having a birthday every month!

In it includes a Helen E Cosmetics lipstick, a MeMeMe Fat Cat mascara, a Narciso Rodriguez perfume sample, a Micabella Cosmetics blusher, a Voulez-Vous Warming Body Oil and a cute little heart lollypop!

There is a handy little booklet that tells you what all the products are, where to buy them and how much a full size version would cost. I have never tried any of these makes before (although I’ve heard of MeMeMe and Narciso Rodriguez) so very excited to try new things!

I will blog about all the items after I’ve used them a few times- watch this space!!

For anyone that's not familiar with Glossybox, you can subscribe at any time, and fill in your 'beauty profile', detailing your skin type, your hair type etc, and they will send you about 8 items a month that fit your profile. The brands vary from high end (such as Elizabeth Arden, Clarins, Molten Brown, YSL) to high street (such as L'Oreal, Nails Inc, Stila) and there's  ofothers. The website is: http://www.glossybox.co.uk/ if you fancy checking it out now :)

Does anyone else subscribe to Glossybox or any other beauty boxes? What do you think about them? Is anyone else tempted to sign up now? Has anyone tried any of these items before? What did you think?

Price: £10 a month plus £2.95 p&p and it’s a rolling subscription so you can cancel anytime.

  1. This is such a great idea, not a bad price for a beautifully wrapped treat coming through the door each month! I have subscribed to Amarya which is all natural organic products but sounds a similar set up for a similar price. My first box arrives in a fortnight so I will let you know.

    1. Yes, I'm looking forward to those two the most- that blusher is worth £35 full size! Thank you so much re: my hair! Unsure about whether to grow it or not at the moment so that's really nice to hear! xx

    1. Do it!! It's so exciting getting it! And there's lots of different brands- you create a beauty profile saying your skin type etc and they send you products that would be suitable for you. For £13 a month it's definitely worth it! Let me know if you subscribe and what things you get :) xx

  5. Just a comment about the voulez-vous oil. I think I got the wrong idea when I received this. I have just come out of hospital after an appendix op and the idea of warming oil on my tummy sounded wonderful. However although it smelt delicious and was lovely to put on, apparently you were meant to blow on it to make it warm (worked on my hands but I couldn't bend to do it on my tummy!) and then it said it tasted good!! (I tasted it and it didn't but think you were meant to lick it off skin (probably someone else's!!) and again I couldn't reach. As it was in a valentine's day box I can see this oil being fun but not for me right now!!! Ha Ha! I used it up anyway though and smelt good.
