HD Brows Eyebrow Palette In Foxy

A person's eyebrows make such a big difference to their overall appearance. Eyebrows are so underrated; not much attention seems to be paid to them when discussing makeup (I guess they aren't the most exciting part of your makeup routine or collection) but their importance should never be overlooked. I must admit I only started bothering to fill my eyebrows in about a year ago, but now I always do it as I've noticed the difference it makes to my face.

This palette from HD Brows* can be used as a powder for your eyebrows or for eyeshadow. The packaging is really sleek and looks really expensive. It comes with a little brush which is angled at one end and is handy for applying the powder to your brows. You can get a palette to suit you hair colour: I have got Foxy as I'm brunette, but there's also Bombshell for blondes (I think this one would be fine for red heads too) and Vamp for dark hair.

I simply sweep the powder along my eyebrows using the angled brush, concentrating more on the inner corners and only lightly dusting the outer areas to look as natural as possible. I then set my eyebrows with an eyebrow gel (I'm currently using the Urban Decay one which is good- full review here) to ensure that they stay in place all day.

As you can see from the photo, the powder looks really natural on my eyebrows. There's nothing I hate more that when it's obvious that you've pencilled in your brows- this powder ensures that the tacky/ drag queen look will never happen! It stays on all day and it doesn't smudge at all.

The palette can also be used as eyeshadow, which I have done here in the photo. It makes doing your eye makeup very easy and quick, and the colours are very natural and matte for daytime.

I would definitely recommend this eyebrow palette as a great alternative to eyebrow pencils, it looks very natural and makes a huge difference to your overall face!

Price: £20* (Available to buy here)

    1. Aw thank you! I know, but it does last a very long time as you only need to use a little bit, so in the end it works out ok I think :) x x

  5. I got one in a glossybox in a shade that is possibly too dark for me, but i like to make my eyebrows a feature so I don't mine too much. I think I'll definitely be repurchasing in the lighter shade!

    1. Aw cool, yes it's good because you can blend the colours together to make one that matches your eyebrows perfectly, maybe you could blend the darker one in with a lighter colour so it's still useable? x x
