Paul Mitchell Spray Wax
I have always had long hair up until a year ago when I decided to take the plunge and chop it all off, much to the shock of everyone that knew me! As a result, I had never 'styled' my hair as such, just straightened it or put it up. So, short hair provided a new challenge and has allowed me to explore different types of products. Spray wax was something that the hairdressers used when styling my hair and so I decided to give this Paul Mitchell one a try.
The hold is brilliant: strong enough for it to stay in all day and shape your hair but not too strong so that your hair feels hard or sticky. You only need to use a little bit for it to be effective which means it lasts for quite a long time and you do get your money's worth.
How to use: I simply lift up the top layer of my hair and spray the wax underneath from about 10-20cm away. This ensures that I will have lots of volume and umph on the roots and from underneath, but the top layer covers it to make sure there are no bits of wax that show. I then scrunch up my hair with my fingers and rub it all together.
This spray wax is brilliant for short hair, I use it nearly every day and will be buying it again when it runs out.
Does anyone else have any product recommendations for short hair? What other Paul Mitchell products have you tried/ loved?
