Veet Spray On Hair Removal Cream

I regularly use hair removal cream on my arms and I'm always looking for products that will make it easier, less messy and quicker without causing any reaction to my skin. A spray on version seemed to fit the bill perfectly so I thought it was worth giving this one a go when I saw it in Boots the other week. My skin is quite sensitive and some hair removal products have caused a rash in the past, although I've never had any trouble with the Veet Sensitive range so was fairly confident that I'd be fine with this one.

I sprayed the cream on from about 30 cm away and left it on for ten minutes. First of all, this is certainly not less messy than normal hair removal creams; I'd say it was more messy in fact! I stood in the bath to apply this to my arms and managed to get it all over the bottom of the bath and all over the shower curtain. Secondly, I found it quite stiff to spray at first and struggled to do my first arm, particularly the underside of it.  However, for the second arm I'd got the hang of it and the spray was much easier to press and so took less than 30 seconds to do. I sprayed quite a thick layer of cream on each arm as there's quite a lot of hair on them. I also left it on for the maximum time, maybe even slightly over 10 minutes, and then washed it off in the (warm) shower whilst scraping the cream off with the little plastic tool. It took a couple of scrapes but the hair removal cream did it's job well and got rid of all the hair on my arms- something that not all hair removal creams actually do for me. I didn't get any rash and my arms were silky smooth for days afterwards.

So, all in all, a messy application process but very quick and great results. I will be using this again in the future.

Does anyone else use hair removal cream? Has anyone else tried this one? What do you think?

  1. I might have to give this a try. I find the creams really messy and rarely have a great result so this might be worth a go!
