Shoetopia Fashion Bloggers Event at The Trafford Centre

I recently attended an absolutely lovely event at the Trafford Centre, Manchester, called Shoetopia. As the name suggests, the event was all about shoes and I went along with my good friend Victoria from inthefrow, which made it even more fun! It was lovely to meet other bloggers, they're always a lovely bunch, and I got chatting to Hannah from Hannah Louise Fashion in particular. The event was held at the 360 bar which is on the top floor of the food court, which is a classy little bar in the midst of all the restaurants.

We spent the evening sipping on Skinny Champagne, a sugar free champagne that tastes exactly the same as a good quality dry champagne, minus any guilt! Amanda Thomson, the founder, was really lovely and I think the brand will go very far.

Kate Nightingale delivered a fascinating presentation about the psychology of shoes, informing us about what a person's shoes can tell you about their personality. I've included some of the slides from the presentation and I'd love to hear your thoughts on them!

We then did two quizzes all about shoes which was really good fun! In the first one we were shown pictures of shoes in history and we had to guess the decade, and the second we were shown famous shoes in films throughout the last century and we had to guess the film. I really enjoyed the quizzes as I'm quite competitive haha!

Finally, we each received a very generous goody bag filled with some awesome Vans trainers and lots of little goodies from Hotel Chocolat, John Lewis and The Body Shop to name a few. I'd like to say a huge thank you to Justin and the team at the Intu Trafford Centre for putting on such a great event, I had a brilliant time!

I'd love to hear what you think about the psychology of shoes slides!

Rosy x
