Clarins A/W14 Collection

This is my favourite collection from Clarins to date. There are so many gorgeous items, I want them all! It's very earth-toned, lots of browns and neutrals, very wearable colours. Most of the items will be available at Clarins counters now, or at the start of September.

Clarins Ombre Matte Cream-to-Powder Eyeshadows
These are my favourite items in the collection. The eyeshadows contain a cream-to-powder formula that offers the smoothing effect of a cream with the fine quality and hold of a powder. They are very soft, easy to blend and long-lasting. All are matte except for the sparkle grey shade (on the left in the photo), which has a slight shimmer.
The shades I have here are (L-R): 05 Sparkle Grey, 04 Rosewood, 02 Nude Pink.
Don't be deceived by the names, they are not pink- I can't wear pink eyeshadow (I just look like I've got an infection haha!), they are more brown and neutral tones, so will honestly suit everyone. They are gorgeous, I can't wait to show you what they look like on- post coming up very soon!

Clarins True Radiance Foundation
This foundation aims to enhance radiance whilst providing a full coverage. It has lots of skincare benefits, such as 24 hydration and Clarins's anti-pollution complex, which guards the skin against pollution and free radicals. It provides a dewy, glowing finish, as the radiance-boosting action enhances the skin's natural radiance through the specifically shaped pigments within its formula, which optimise the reflection of light. Plus it has SPF15 in it. It comes in 10 shades so there should be one to suit most skin colours. My first impressions are that I love it- I will be testing it out over the next couple of weeks and posting a review soon!
Price: £27*

Clarins Perfect Eyes and Brows Palette
This is the perfect eyebrow kit for travelling. It contains three powder shades, which will suit most people and can be blended together to create the perfect match. There's a setting wax for keeping the brows in place, and a pink eyeshadow to act as a highlighter for the brow bone and corners of the eye. The little tools included are fab, especially the wand.
Price: £35*

Clarins Instant Light Eye Perfecting Base
This is basically a super eyeshadow primer! You put it on before your eye makeup and it smoothes, evens and brightens the eyelids whilst improving eyeshadow hold all day long. Amazing!
Price: £22*

Clarins 3-Dot Liner in Brown
This one here is actually the black one, which is a permanent, and best-selling, Clarins product.  For A/W14 they've brought out a limited edition brown shade, which will be more wearable during the day. It comes with a handy instructions booklet, which shows you how to use it. I'm a complete novice at liquid eyeliner but this one looks much simpler. You can draw the dots along your top lash line and then join them up by following the line, or you can simply dot the eyeliner along your eyelash roots for fuller looking lashes. I'll be trying and testing this over the next couple of weeks and will post a review to let you know how I get on!

Shaping Facial Lift Total V Contouring Serum
These products work together to help combat ageing. The serum has already launched in Asia and has won over 40 beauty awards. It is essentially a facial treatment that you can do yourself. It contains Guarana Extract which is an effective anti-fat action which is naturally high in caffeine to encourage the release of excess fats. It refines the face, offers an immediate "lift" effect and moisturises at the same time.
Price: £49*

Super Restorative Day Cream
The Day Cream works alongside the serum and should be applied straight after it. It replenishes skin that is experiencing hormonal changes due to ageing. Using organic Harungana, the cream adds oestrogen back into the skin and ensures that the cell structures are restored, which in turn reduces wrinkles and skin slackening.
Price: £69*
They will both be launching in September exclusively in Sellfridges.
I have given these to my mum to try as she was looking for some new skin care as nothing seems to be working for her at the moment. She is going to do a guest post on Ro's Tinted after she's been using these for a couple of months.

What a gorgeous collection! What do you like the sound of? Keep your eyes peeled as I'll be reviewing some of these soon!
