August Favourites

This post is a little late, but better late than never eh?! These are the products that I loved the most in August...

Soap and Glory Flake Away Exfoliating Scrub
I'm quite lazy when it comes to body products and I must admit that I've very rarely exfoliated. However, I had this Soap and Glory Flake Away tub sitting my cupboard, and after trouble with a few in-grown hairs on my legs (TMI I know!!), I decided to give it a go. I was absolutely amazed by the result! The scrub smells gorgeous- so sweet and yummy, it's tempting to just eat it! Unlike my lazy head thought, it took less than a minute to rub it on my legs and under my arms and I felt like it gave me a thorough clean. What really surprised me though, was how soft my skin felt afterwards. It was so smooth and silky, not at all dry like I thought it would be. Plus the gorgeous smell lingered on my skin which was lovely. I will be keeping this in my shower from now on and using it about once a week.

Clarins Instant Concealer
This is my favourite concealer by a country mile. It really brightens up my eye area, completely covers any bag or dark circles and also covers up spots brilliantly. What more could you ask for in a concealer?! This is my second tube of it and it certainly won't be my last.

Real Technique Expert Face Brush
I've been using this brush to apply my foundation for nearly a year now and I absolutely love it. My foundation goes on so easily with it and it provides a really even coverage. It softens my face and the foundation just sinks right in when using it. I would really recommend it.

Mac Pink Nouveau Lipstick
I love the colour of this lipstick. It's a statement pink but it's not too bright or OTT, it's *slightly* more subtle than the really bright shades you can get, but still adds a real pop of colour. I think it's the pink lipstick that suits me the most, and it doesn't look too much even when I've got a lot of eye makeup on.
Price: £15.50

I've spoken about my love for these eyeshadows a lot on here over the last few weeks, and they certainly deserve their place in my favourites pile. I've not used any other eyeshadows this month apart from these two. They're just so lovely and can look really natural for during the day or can be built up to make a smokier eye in the evening. The formula makes them really easy to blend and the staying power is brilliant.
