The Body Shop have brought out a brand new Argan Oil Range which is based on the idea of indulgence and luxurious pampering that can be done at home. The Argan Oil in their products is sourced from the remote Atlas Mountains in Morocco and only the best kernels are selected to be used.
I've been trying out the Radiant Oil for the last couple of weeks. It can be used on your body or hair to add radiance and condition them. It's a dry oil and is quite runny, but it has a spray pump applicator which makes it really easy to apply. It smells gorgeous. It's hard to pin point exactly what it smells like, but I'd say it's quite nutty and just simply lovely- next time you're passing a Body Shop go in and have a whiff!
For my body, I apply it on my legs after I've shaved. As it's a dry oil, it is not actually very greasy, which is what has put me off using body oils in the past. It's very moisturising and it sinks in quite quickly, which means your clothes don't get messed up or you don't have to hang around waiting for it to dry for ages! It makes your legs look glowing and shiny (but not too shiny so that they look tacky!), so it's brilliant for when you've got your legs out. It makes me feel a bit more confident baring my legs as they do look better, and they're not a feature that I love about myself.
For my hair, I spray it onto the palm of my hand and rub my hands together, then run them through the ends of my hair. You only need to use a little bit- two sprays maximum- otherwise your hair will just go greasy (I made the mistake of putting loads on the first time I tried this and I had to wash my hair again!). This is actually a good thing though as it means it lasts ages so you will get your money's worth. Also, only put it on the very ends of your hair as when I put it anywhere near my roots it made it greasy again. It's different to other hair oils in this way, you really only need a tiny bit. It does make my hair feel soft, healthy and conditioned when I use it.
Overall, I think this works better on my body than it does on my hair as it makes my legs look and feel smooth, silky and very moisturised.
