My Weekly Pamper

We can all get caught up in our busy lifestyles, so it's nice to have a bit of downtime scheduled in the diary.

I like to have a pamper evening about once a week, when my hair, skin and body need a pick me up. Sunday is a great night for this, although the day can vary depending on the events of the week, but the routine is pretty much the same. I put some hair oil on my hair, leave it for as long as possible, then just have a nice, relaxing shower (I'm not really a bath person) where I exfoliate my body and my face thoroughly. I then snuggle up in my PJs, cover myself in body butter, light a scented candle and relax with a cup of tea, a hot water bottle and a good book.

These are the products that I've been using for my weekly pampering sessions recently:

Hair Oil
Although face masks are quite common, people often forget to put one on their hair as well. As a result of dying mine quite a lot, it can get very dry, so I tend to put hair oil on it for as long as possible, once a week. You can sleep in it and wash it off in the morning, but it's quite greasy so I tend to wash it off before bed. This one I've been using recently is Aldi's version of Morrocan Oil, called Miracle Oil, and it's actually very good. To be honest, any hair oil containing argan oil will do wonders for your hair and it's great to leave it on as a mask once a week or so.

The Body shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion
This is an exfoliating face scrub that really brightens up my skin. It's so quick and easy to use as well, it simply replaces my cleanser. I keep it in the shower and about once a week I rub this all over my wet face and then simply wash it off. When I've used it my face looks radiant afterwards; I look all clean and brand new! I would definitely recommend it if you have dull skin as it's really brightening and makes you look very fresh.

Soap and glory Flake Away Body Scrub
This is a lovely body scrub. Again, I use it in the shower about once a week, or sometimes more often on my legs and armpits if I'm shaving. It smells amazing and gets rid of all dead skin cells all over the body and leaves my skin feeling soft.

After all that scrubbing my skin needs some body lotion. I've been using The Body Shop Body Butters for as long as I can remember as they're really hydrating and make my skin look, feel and smell amazing. I'm a big fan of the body butters and love going in store to smell all the different flavours and scents. The satsuma one is probably my favourite as it just smells delicious!

Do you like to have a bit of pampering session now and again? What products do you use? What do you think about these products?
