OOTN: Crop Tops, Disco Pants And Vintage Jackets

My outfit:
Jacket: Vintage Wrangler (similar here)
Top: Blue Vanilla (buy here)
Disco Pants: American Apparel (Buy here)
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Litas (Buy here)

This outfit is definitely channeling a 70s Vibe, which does seem to be everywhere at the moment! This jacket has actually seen the 70s too, as it was given to me by my fiancé's Dad, who was wearing it way back in the 60s- a real piece of vintage! (I bet he didn't think it would be styled like this all those years ago!). The jacket is a little bit oversized, which complements the fitted-ness of the crop top and disco pants and really pulls them together. For some reason, I always feel slightly exposed if I don't wear a jacket over my disco pants and crop tops! Is that just me??!

As always, I dress for comfort as well as style, and all these items are really comfy to wear, even the shoes (honest!). I've had my Jeffrey Campbell Litas for years now and I still love them just as much as I did when I first got them. The platform makes it so there isn't really much of a heel so you get the advantage of added height (trust me, I need it at only 5 ft 2"!) but without the pain of stilettos!

What do you think about this outfit?
Are you adding any 70s twists to your wardrobe this season?

    1. Thank you :) It certainly is departure from how it used to be styled that's for sure! It's nice to have items that have a story behind them too- I love that I know how old it is and wear it came from! Plus the denim is really thick and better quality than any on the high street :D xxxx
