OOTD: Statement Tees and Slogan Jumpers

Statement tees and sweaters teamed with baggy ripped jeans has got to be my favourite off-duty look at the moment...

My Outfit:
'If You Can't Beat Them Dress Better Than Them' T-Shirt - Rock on Ruby (Create your own here)
Ripped Jeans Cropped - Asos (Buy here)
Trainers - Adidas Stan Smiths (Buy here)
Sunglasses - Michael Kors (Similar here)

Is there anything cooler than creating your own clothes?! I created this T-Shirt and Sweater on Rock on Ruby a couple of weeks ago and have been living in them ever since. I love Rock on Ruby, no joke I have at least 5 more of these kind of jumpers from them (and have another 5 or so designs in the pipeline that I will be buying over the next couple of months!). I think they make a great present too- I got one for my fiancĂ©, Liam, for Valentine's Day saying 'Science Boy' because he is a science nerd and we love Friends haha! Customised and personalised fashion is getting more and more popular these days and I can totally see why. It's a great way to get an item that's unique and meaningful to you. What's also cool about Rock on Ruby though is that there are already a lot of funny slogan tops to choose from, and Holly at Rock on Ruby shares my weird (sorry Holly!) sense of humour (and love of anything Potter!) so I love so many of their designs.

I'm also loving these jeans from Asos. I've never bought jeans from Asos before, which is surprising as I seem to have bought every other kind of item from there! I've been pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are, and they go with everything- I've been dressing them up with heels and a nice top for evenings out too. Finally, my outfit was completed by trusty (and super comfy) Adidas Stan Smiths, alongside my Michael Kors sunglasses. If there's two items I think are worth investing in, it's a designer handbag and a pair of designer sunglasses, as both will last you a long time and can be used/ worn with every outfit many times over.

What do you think of this outfit?

  1. I have been loving statement tees for quite some time now. Such a simple way to add an edge to an outfit while staying comfortable.

  3. You look gorgeous! I have just ordered one of the sweatshirts and I loved how you had a choice of colours and fonts for the script as well. Means you can make it exactly as you want.

  4. I love the fit of this jumper, some statement jumpers can be a bit of an odd fit but this is really cute. I love the jeans too, such a nice change from skinny jeans!

    1. I know what you mean! I deliberately got a small and not an xs. I think they look so much better when they're a bit baggy! xxx
