Combining classic, investment pieces with 70s styles in today's outfit...
Coat: Stradivarious (similar here)
White Cropped Shirt: Topshop (this will definitely still be in store as I only bought it a week or two ago, but I can't find it on the website!)
Boots: Office (similar here)
Black Handbag: Michael Kors Frankie Bag (here)
This is the first time I've worn flares for a very long time, and it certainly won't be the last! I don't know why I haven't invested in a pair earlier, as they make me look a lot taller (essential when you're only 5 ft 1"!) and I feel more sophisticated in them than skinnies or mom/ boyfriend jeans. I teamed them with this loose cropped shirt from Topshop, which again helped to make me look taller, and this classic beige trench coat which is hardly off my back these days! Finally I added more height and sophistication with my beige ankle boots poking out underneath. I topped the outfit off with some lovely accessories, firstly these really pretty infinity necklaces from Orelia Jewellery, and my timeless Michael Kors Frankie Bag.
