Personalised Gifts For Weddings

Looking for some inspiration for wedding decorations or wedding gifts? Read on...

I'm getting married next year and I'm really enjoying wedding planning so far! We've got the venue, food and photographer booked, so a lot of the big things, and I'm now focusing on the many smaller things that need to be done.

The list of things to do for a wedding does seem endless. I didn't realise it was such a huge job to plan one until I started. There's so much information and inspiration around, from magazines, to blogs and pinterest, that it can become overwhelming. There is a kind of expectation and pressure to host an amazing wedding, with pinterest making it look easy, but after a year of planning, I've realised that it's impossible to have everything.

However, one of the areas that is really important to me and my fiancé, is making sure that our close family and friends feel special, and know how loved and appreciated they are. One way that we want to achieve that is by getting them personalised gifts. I've recently discovered Treat Republic, who have a lovely little online store full of personalised gifts, and I've picked out a few pieces that I loved...

- This is a lovely little bracelet that would be perfect as a gift to the bridesmaids. It's a sliver heart, engraved with the initials of the person, and on a navy cord.

- This is something that we will keep forever. It will be great to have on show in the living room and practical for storing little nick nacks in. We will also use it in the wedding to put on the guest book table as another little display piece. It would make a fantastic gift for a bride and groom on their special day.
(Just as a side note, I edited the photo to erase our full wedding details for privacy reasons, but it does have our wedding date and wedding venue on it).

Monogrammed Best Man Tankard
- This is a great present for the best man, showing him that his efforts and speech were very much appreciated and that he certainly earned a pint!
(Again, I erased the day of our wedding on the photo so it does have the full date on it really).

What do you think of these personalised gifts?

  1. Ohh this is all very exciting! I think I see a CB thing in there.
This is perfect for what I was looking for actually, I have a wedding coming up and I don't know them that well, they have asked for money but i'm broke and putting £20 in a card doesn't feel quite right! So I will be looking at this for inspiration :)

    Lots of love, Caz xxx

    1. Haha, I was kind of hoping you wouldn't see the CB thing! Wipe it from your memory now! (I'll have to use the obliviate spell when I see you! lol). But glad that it's given you some inspiration! I think personalised presents are the nicest ones that you can give! I'm sure you'll find some nice ones for a decent price that they can treasure :) xxx
